#1 in a Series on the Mortgage Foreclosure Fraud

Below you will find a very informative video clip from MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan, one of the few financial reporters in the main stream media who isn't bought and paid for by the corporate complex or the Wall St. lobbyists...hence why he no longer works for CNBC, but that's another story for another day.  Getting back on point, this video provides a very clear description of what is happening related to the foreclosure mess that has suddenly become a hot topic over the past few weeks.  The clip is 12 minutes long, but I highly encourage everyone to watch it in its entirety to see and hear for yourself why the banks have done what they've done (ah...profit & greed?), why the Government has done nothing about it (ah...so politicians could stay in office?), and what the potential ramifications are (depends on what, if anything, the Government does now).

Included are interviews with Karl Denninger, author of the Market Ticker and long-time investigator of mortgage fraud, and Jennifer Brunner, Ohio Secretary of State, who has launched an investigation into the recent foreclosure cases in her state.  One of the key questions presented just prior to Karl and Jennifer being introduced:
Why isn't the Government doing anything about this now?
"Perhaps because that would reveal systematic criminal and civil fraud at the highest levels of America's banks and political corridors."
Ya think????  This is one of the questions I've been asking myself and others since the financial crisis began in 2008.  Why (other than Bernie Madoff), has not one single person been investigated and sent to jail for any of this?  Hopefully that will soon change.

And that, my friends, is just the beginning.

Here is the link to Dylan's blog post mentioned at the end of the video.

More to follow shortly.

  1. V. interesting. I had no clue Dylan had been "kicked up and out" to his own show on MSNBC. Had noticed his absence on CNBC though, ever since I re-united with the standard Cable package via Fios, 2 months ago.

Keep the brutal truth flowing as nicely as the Single Malt!
