CNBC produces a clip worth watching - The $150,000 bottle of Dalmore

"The 64-year-old Dalmore Trinitas, costs $150,000. That's about $32,000 a glass.    How good can it be?  'The Dalmore 64 tastes like purple heaven,' said master blender Richard Paterson, whose nose for whiskey is so attuned to the nuances of scents that it's insured for $2.5 million by Lloyd’s of London."

So if anyone was struggling with that perfect Xmas gift for SingleMalt, your troubles are over.

Towards the end when CNBC money-honey Michelle gets to try a sample (from a different bottle, not the $150k masterpiece), we see some of her finest footage in years, as she is forced to hold the whiskey in her mouth, rendering her unable to spout the normal drivel for which she is so well known.

  1. Classic! Money is tight, however. Would you settle for a six pack of Lucky Lager for mas instead?

  2. Well 2 buck, I guess beggars can't be choosers, and with your offer of Lucky Lager, at least I can amuse myself trying to decipher the picto-grams in the bottle caps. :)
